For over forty years, my work has taken place in recording studios, where I have worked as a composer and multimedia sound engineer. Throughout this time, I have experienced numerous adventures. What I enjoy most is not performing, but inventing music. My favorite \u00ab\u00a0instrument\u00a0\u00bb is called MULTICREA<\/a>, a highly advanced multimedia recording studio that has, over the years, hosted wonderful musicians, singers, arrangers, lyricists, choreographers, and graphic artists. Together, we formed the Quark Sinfonietta Orchestra<\/a> and conceived the musical productions now gathered under Pix\u2019Elles Rhapsody<\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

My approach to musical creation is similar to that of film directing, following an asynchronous process. Here\u2019s how each step of musical creation parallels the world of cinema<\/strong>:<\/p>

  1. Choosing scores is like choosing a script<\/strong><\/span>: This step initiates the creative process by defining the framework of the work, just as one would with a film.<\/li>
  2. Directing musicians is equivalent to directing actors<\/strong><\/span>: It involves guiding performers to bring the musical composition to life, just as a director leads actors to embody their roles.<\/li>
  3. Selecting the best takes is akin to selecting rushes<\/strong><\/span>: The finest musical moments are chosen, just as one selects the best scenes during the editing process of a film.<\/li>
  4. Creating acoustic spaces corresponds to creating special effects<\/strong><\/span>: This involves designing soundscapes, much like special effects add an immersive dimension to a film.<\/li>
  5. Inventing imaginary soundscapes is comparable to building sets<\/strong><\/span>: Unique auditory environments are crafted, just like sets build the visual universe of a film.<\/li>
  6. Responding to the music industry crisis by offering audiovisual professionals <\/span><\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0Everything you\u2019ve ever dreamed of to orchestrate your images\u00a0\u00bb (via orchestral songs in decomposed instrumental versions on OrchestralKit.Film)<\/span><\/em><\/a>: This allows these musical pieces to live within your own audiovisual works.<\/li>
